Anywhere between Cape May and Wildwood (below Rte 47) is good. With the economy the way it is, slips are probably available in most marinas. I'm in Shawcrest, on a tidal creek just off the Intracoastal, and it takes only 15 minutes to be fishing in the ocean. The back bays and Cape May Harbor are usually decent most of the season. Very protected and has basic amenities (bathhouse) and water & electric at each slip. Also, you can clean fish at this marina with tables, sinks and running water at several stations. Rates are very reasonable. 21' slip costs less than $1200 for the season!
