I fish a good many days during the winter up here in Gloucester and it's below freezing most of the time. All my tuna floro stays on the boat in freezing temps and I have never had a problem come the summer with line breaking under heavy drag. So with that said I would say no.

If you want to keep them just to remind you how to rig them, thats good. I throw all bait away after a trip, and get new ballyhoo every year.
He's fishing central Florida, I dont think they will stay frozen till next year. Their offshore bite should start any day.

Freezing will hurt the bait.....not the line. Those Bally's are delicate and will get mushy. That said, in a hot bite they are fine as a pitch bait....they won't have time to wash out. Bottom line....don't rely on refrozen baits but don't fear using the rigs again if you do.
