Did a trip to NC this weekend and had a chance to fish my new Canyon 6500. Got to test it on AJ's not big ones around the 30 to 35 lb class and big triggers. The reel performed well you have to keep in mind that this reel is priced for the working man. I had no drag issues or any mechanical problems. I fish this reel on a 6'6" Bronco blank. At this point I am happy with my purchase.:thumbsup:
