I need a new 10' net and was wondering what everybody uses. I will be using this one for adult bunker and need it to sink fast for throwing out front in deeper water sometimes. I have heard good stuff about Percy cast nets and checked to see if he would be at the somerset show but he is not listed. What is everybody throwing?

nets

Except for a little 6 footer for peanuts, I didn't do much cast netting. Then I started to winter over in florida and it was like I was an alien. The kids here learn to cast net before they ride bikes.

So, I spent a lot of time looking at nets, and learning how to toss one.

This is just my opinion of course, but here goes...

Tim Wade out of the Miami area makes one of the finest nets to be had. Amazingly, he's inexpensive considering he'll talk to you for ah hour before he builds one, so he gets it right.

Black Pearl out of Ft. Myers is second on my list.

The calusa and their "cracker" series are both very good for a commercial product.

My go to net is a 10 foot Tim wade for catching mullet ( about the same size as bunker) It opens flat, sinks fast, and works very well.

You couldn't go wrong with any of the ones I mentioned
