Are they kidding...? Hope its not as bad as there saying it could be

Severe Weather Alert from the National Weather Service

...FLOOD WATCH NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ 1031 PM EDT FRI SEP 17 2004
... FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES...

A FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS...

IN PENNSYLVANIA... DELAWARE... PHILADELPHIA... CHESTER... MONTGOMERY... BERKS... LEHIGH... NORTHAMPTON... CARBON... BUCKS AND MONROE.

IN NEW JERSEY... SUSSEX... WARREN... MORRIS... HUNTERDON... SOMERSET... EASTERN MONMOUTH... SALEM... CAMDEN... GLOUCESTER... WESTERN MONMOUTH... MERCER... MIDDLESEX AND NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON.

IN DELAWARE... NEW CASTLE.

IN MARYLAND... CECIL.

TROPICAL MOISTURE FROM THE REMNANTS OF IVAN MOVING INTO THE REGION WILL INTERACT WITH AN ADVANCING COLD FRONT. THE ENERGY, MOISTURE, AND LIFTING MOTION WILL COMBINE TO CAUSE A POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAIN IN THE WATCH AREA INTO SATURDAY MORNING.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS THROUGH LATE FRIDAY EVENING HAVE RANGED FROM AROUND AN INCH OVER THE SOUTHERN POCONOS TO A QUARTER INCH OR LESS OVER THE LEHIGH VALLEY TO LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH ELSEWHERE IN THE WATCH AREA. RAIN HAS BEEN SLOW TO ADVANCE SOUTHEAST, BUT IT IS STILL ANTICIPATED OVER THE WATCH AREA OVERNIGHT.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN ONE AND TWO INCHES ARE STILL EXPECTED OVER MUCH OF THE WATCH AREA, AND THEY COULD REACH THREE OR FOUR INCHES IN ISOLATED LOCATIONS. THESE AMOUNTS WOULD BE ENOUGH TO CAUSE AT LEAST LOCALIZED FLOODING OF ROADS AND LOW SPOTS. MOTORISTS SHOULD WATCH FOR PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AND HIGHWAYS, AND SLOW DOWN ACCORDINGLY. THE EXPECTED RAIN COULD ALSO CAUSE SIGNIFICANT RISES ON AREA STREAMS AND CREEKS. IF ENOUGH RAIN FALLS IN A SHORT ENOUGH TIME PERIOD, FLOODING OF THE SMALLER WATERCOURSES MAY OCCUR. THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO TAPER OFF FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST DURING SATURDAY MORNING OR MIDDAY.

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING OF STREAMS... CREEKS AND OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER AND BE PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION IF FLOODING OCCURS OR A FLOOD WARNING BE ISSUED. IF A WARNING IS ISSUED OR FLOODING IS OBSERVED MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. NEVER DRIVE VEHICLES AROUND BARRICADES....
