Really thats cool. I heard cut bait works but never night crawlers for flatheads. For channels and bullheads i have caught them on um but.. I no live bait works the best for flatheads bud cut bait works okay too. U could have caught um on Night Crawlers idk anythings possible. Are u sure they werent channels? At least, I've caught many flatheads by elk neck state park using the plain ole worm. What ever you use, they are a hoot to catch.
I have heard stories about people catchin smaller fish under 15 pounds on globs of crawlers but it's not the best bait especially if you want a biggun.Really thats cool. Oh yea I understand. I was just thinking maybe he got the flathead mixed up with a bullhead, which is actually pretty common. Or maybe a channel. I bet you can catch flats on nightys but, I think you would have more success with live gill. Im gonna target catties real hard this year. And carp too. Im going to catch a decent amount of flatheads. I hope i can catch atleast a couple. :thumbsup:I have heard stories about people catchin smaller fish under 15 pounds on globs of crawlers but it's not the best bait especially if you want a biggun.
