</font>
You do realize that you stated that Hatteras will get hit with "THE NE SIDE OF THE STORM" and you know from being a fishermen and water person that the NE side of a hurricane is ALWAYS the strongest part of the storm, don't ya ??? :(

Sanibel saved my brother's ***! He lives in St James city on Pine Island Directly behind Sanibel. He said when it hit Sanibel it veered slightly north and took on Port Charlotte! but it sound like he's still got on hell of a mess to clean up! Tore the roof off his pole barn and dropped 5 trees in his yard 4 of them were MASSIVE OAKS and one Royal Palm! At his oter investment property it dropped a tree right on the house and his home owners just cancelled him last week B/C he had a hot tub on the property! From what the neighbors told him it doesn't look like the tree penetrated the roof though. But all in all he cant complain!

</font>
True,If the storm stays out over the ocean.
But the storm this morning is coming inland
at Myrtle Beach and the projected path takes
it inland west of OBX and thus causing alot
less wind and damage to eastern Carolina...
