The clams will do the trick with the blackfish when the water temp drops below 42 on a steady basis. Only had to switch over to clam once recently to coax a bite. For the arguementative types, the tog will still bite green crab. However, they have trouble digesting it, therefore prefering clam baits. Clam will also put ling into play for you if you are fishing the deeper spots.

We caught Tog and ling on clams yesterday, but that was 20 miles out. They were also taking greenies. Water temp was around 45.

johnny you should come out with me on friday with adam bomb if your free. if not maybe we can do a 16 hr wreck trip on the atlantic star out of cape may.

Clamchucker,

I just read your post. I am in for the Adambomb and the 16 hour Atlantic star. I just need to know a few days before the trip so I can take off.
