Anywhere around the Avalon area where I can find some fresh clams? Trying to give it a shot tomorrow, also any suggestions on lures to throw?

Thanks for the help, hopefully I can get that first striper of 2004. Been out a couple times in December and each time I say its my last time out, but I just cant stop. Even though I am not cathing anything damnit.

Thanks and good luck to anyone else who is planning on taking advantage of the weather this weekend.

RyanF,

Clams would be the best bet in the wash.

If your going to throw artificial then try
to match something up to the Sandeels that
are around...
Plugging use a teasor..
Bucktails w/worm,Fin-S Rubber etc. might
work this time of the year also..

Thats much What I would carry with me...

Good Luck,,,

Well if you are still looking for clams try Roseman's marine in Stone Harbor. Was there last weekend and he had 50 pints of clams and I also think he said he had whole clams but not 100% on that. HE did say someone should be there at times so you might want to call there first. Hope this can help the die hards! Jack
