Is everyone aware of the Coastal Recreational Fishing license for North Carolina? The cost is $15.00 and went into effect on January 1, 2006. Persons fishing on the shoreline or in a boat are subject to the license requirement. I didnt know anything about it until I perused Corolla Bait and Tackle web site. More info can be obtained and a copy of the legislation can be read by accessing the site.

Every State will have it soon, mandated by the Feds.

NC Rec anglers fought for about 6 years to get theirs in place.

I think it got pushed back to 2007 for NC

Just read Bobs link. What happen to the 7 day for $1? The year was $15 for out of state. It looks like they upgraded.
