If the orientation of the bow/stern is correct, it sure looks like the ship lost power and drifted into the rocks. It's amazing how close the ship came to the rocks south of the port on it's approach. Sure looks like multiple loss of power situations to me.

Of course the idiot then abandoned ship before the passenger. Speechless...

Actually it was the rocks south on the approach that caused the damage. Watch the speed drop off right after that collision.

It looks like the track back toward shore might have been intentional to ground the sinking ship in shallow water, or was it simply drift after power loss?

the final track back to the shoreline looks alot like a boat without power in a NE wind. That might explain why she went over on the stbd side with the original hole on the port side.
