Well, I pulled the boat yesterday and she is in the process of getting put to bed.:(

Meanwhile, I have a couple dozen crabs in the trap down at the dock and will probably liberate them tomorrow unless someone nearby wants them.. they are not enough for a real trip but if you are already goin, no such thing as too many...

Shoot me an email....

Ed, thanks for meeting me @ the dock! the crabs did not go to waste and went to a good home ;)

the ride out was fine, but I must have been in a different ocean because as the day went on the conditions actually got worse ( NOAA said waves were supposed to be "around 2 feet") and it was more like 3'-4's in chop with a constant 10-15 kt wind... that's what it seemed to me anyways..

we did OK.. we had a bunch of fish going 3-6 pounds and was just short of our 4 man limit.. just as the bite really picked up we came off the piece and spent about 45 mins. reanchoring... and then had to recultivate the bite.. if we had fished w/o this incident we would have mugged 'em...

water temp did not go above 39 degrees this time...

thanks again..
