Just wondering some opinions,I want to buy some crab traps that I can set out over the week,then pick on the weekends.Am I to late this season?Thanks you guys are the best!

the best crabbing is about to begin.caught plenty last year into nov. this season has been a little off and on but should get hot soon. brown bob

Plenty of time to still get some nice crabs,
most likley the largest of the season at this
point...
I believe you can use (one)of these Comm.Crabs
traps without a Comm.Crab License...Fours ways In,
and A Bait Holder in the Middle.. Leave It Out
During Multiple Tide Cycles....

I beleive you will need a recreational license to use one of those traps that Nightstrikes posted. They are only about 2 bucks and can be gotten at most tackle shops.

i have a couple off those traps they work well but i am pretty sure with these traps legally you have to check them every 24 hours

Traps need to be checked every 72hrs. That's if they're there went you go to check them. I had two, now have one. Good luck.
