Daiwa PE5 or OTI 60#, which is thinner?

Trying to max out yardage on an SX Raptor. Which will give me more line?

As a sidenote, is the Daiwa Boat braid the same as their Samuri line, but colored?? I've been using the Samuri 20# on my inshore baitcaster and I've been very impressed with strenght, limpness, and diameter.

i dont have the diawia to measure.
the OTI i have.

i would think the diawia is a little thinner because its a PE5.
but not 100% sure.
I believe PE 5 is 0.37mm.

I was told that the following is the PE to mm conversions:

The Daiwa Saltiga Boat Braid and Samurai Braid are hands down the best braids you can buy IMO. I don't know what the difference is between the Samurai and boat other than the color. The Boat braid feels like it has a little bit less coating but it seems slightly stiffer to me.

that is my humble opinion too:wave:
The Daiwa does feel incredible but have you guys felt the oti line?
One nice thing about the OTI is the fact its not marked with metrics!!

I was hoping Kil would hop in on this....he still down in Hatt?
