remains from a blue fish blitz??? Would think they would aet up the remains though.
Dead bunker
Hey guys, I have a question. I had my wife out today and we were east of the Maul and there were hunderds of dead bunker with their heads gone and some had the tails missing. I heard someone talking about this earlier in the week but I didn't catch the explaination for it, any ideas?

Hopefully one of the conmercial guys here can correct me if I am wrong, but it sounds like they got snagged in a net set for some other fish and were dumped as Bykill. They get cauget in a gill net and have to be removed sometimes forcefully. That is just my guess mind you.
I've seen this before, several years ago off IBSP. Assumed they weren't dumped by commercials. Never found out for sure though.
Man, what a giant waste.
