Last year a few people posted about registering in Delaware to get a ID# so if your fishing the Dbay from Jersey and cross into Del. waters etc. you needed to be registered in Del.
I have last years # and wanted to check that needs to be renewed each year? Cant seem to find the real name of it or the Delaware site to check on it. Anyone know the name of it or have the link? :huh:

Found It and yes it says you to renew annually, its free, just either sign up, log in, get your #, write it down is all you need.

It's a fin # and yes you need a new one each year

It's a shame that they didn't figure out how to renew the same number. That way it would b easier to keep track of it.

Does anyone know if you complete the NJ saltwater registry, do you need to complete the Delaware FIN# too? I will not be doing the saltwater registry b/c I will be purchasing a DE boat license & FIN#. I am curious to know if the other people I take out fishing, will they also need the FIN# when I fish in DE waters?

If you have registered in NJ, then you don't get another from De. Your boat fishing license in De doesn't require you to also get a FIN from delaware.
Anyone fishing on your boat (over 16?) will either have to complete the Saltwater registry or get a FIN.

Thanks DoubleG, I thought I had to get the FIN# in addition to the DE boat license.
