I made a few last spring and they worked great. I used a clear plastic tube that I found at a flea market that already had a closed end attached and a flip-open lid on the other end. Lunchbox used it most of the summer so he may have a picture of it to post.

I ended up making one tonight. I had a small rod case that I never used. I cut it down to 2 1/2 ft and drilled out holes on both ends.

I hid the last one when you were in the shop, before it "mysteriously disappeared"... but it looks like I hid it too good! LOL!

Cathy, when I was in the shop a few months ago, I saw hanging from the ceiling, a mini minnow bucket. I bet that would also be great for a kayak.

Yup, George bought them for the kayakers. I'll try one out over the winter and report back....
