Who was the guy that called the Rangers? He was good. I think he passed away....mike something? He did some national games outside NY and I enjoyed his game calling.

Yup, he's the best. No doubt.

His adverbs and adjectives are amazing.

Guy up with Rangers I’m thinking of is Marv Albert? Is that right?

I definitely like Doc, but Albert is good (was good-dead now?)

Kenny Albert (Marv's son) is pretty good.
Gary Thorne wasnt bad either.
Nothing against Emrick, but I am ready for a change.
His schtick has not changed in 20 or so years.
he was such a homer when he announced for the Devils and Martin Brodeur , but I guess that was in his contract back then.
I am glad to see some hockey regardless of who calling the game.

Marvelous Marv Albert, both Rangers and Knicks. Great announcer, though events, as they later unfolded, took a "bite" out of his reputation :D

Gray Thorne was pretty good when he did hockey, although I think he does a better job with the Orioles...
