Taking the kids out in the morning would like to have smiles on their faces.Is there any place we should hit first , what we should fish for and bait or plastic.I'm not to familar with the inlet and would rather stay in the back with the kids. Thanks for any information.The Baehr's.

There are blues from the BB to Gulf Point. If you want to guarantee a catch, or about as best as you can , anchor in 6-10 feet of water in these areas and fish mackerel or bunker strips on the bottom. You should catch plenty of blues that way. If you stay in the 3-8 foot range try throwing poppers when away from boat traffic.
