eels or bunker?

Which is the preferred bait? assuming the bunker is fresh and the eels are live. Any other baits worth trying this fall?

try chumming with surf clams while anchored,use whole shucked clams for bait

I never did real good with eels, caught more fish since I switched to bunker and clams. I think eels work better in thr rips??

Delaware Bay, chunking on anchor: fresh bunker
Rips, drifting: eals
