My Dad lives only about a 1/2 mile from the parking area. Last time I was down it was still closed. This still ticks me off. There are a few loud-mouths who do a lot of complaining and a few dumb fishermen who give them stuff to complain about. I have not heard if it will be open in the spring at all. I'll let you know if I do though. I am lucky in that I can walk from my Dad's house but it stinks that such a great fishing spot has been cutoff due to a few loud-mouthed locals who want their own private street.
