Need to replace battery on my EPIRB. There seems to be alot of places that I can ship to around the country. I would rather give to a local
business in the s jersey area, anyone have this done recently ???

Check with EMC (barn sponsor) in Rio Grand. They can get you all set up. Don't forget to check the Hydrostatic Release date if you have one.

I have a global fix ACR eprib #2744 cat II thats in need of a battery and reprogramming can you give me an idea as to its costs?

Chuck, winters seem to be getting colder,longer & darker other than that everyone is good. Boat goes back in 1st week of april. Iam going to try to go to show on sun the 7th.

Ok guys, somebody must have a cost on this. I have seen as low as 235 to as hight as 450...

sorry it took so long, we charge $299 for 5 year battery with test verification.

If you bought it new and registered it you should get a notice from the manufacturer that the battery is due for replacement,

EPRIB battery

hey sawblade, I just bought a ACR EPRIB global fix from a guy in west wildwood. He said that this unit came from a boat he just bought. Anyway he doesn't know if the guy did anything about its registration or not. On the side is a decal with the UIN number and the boats name. Question if I bring it to you can you put a battery in it and reprogram it so I can register it?

Correct, I think I remember seeing a letter or something from ACR. Just have to dig through the pile of mail... thnx.
