Ok ...So we had a thread on how many lines you drag...Now how bout what is at the end of those lines....Most of you stated less lines for marlin....Whats your favorite for them....and then if your target is tuna.....?

for yft 1 way back with a bird eather green machine or a black bart then two ballies on eather side swiched up skirted and naked, two spreader bars in front of that. change color till i find what there chewing on. then two small jets in the wash with a dredge in the middle and some times i will through a mid center spreader bar for more flash

for bft two planner boards at different depths with ballies on weighted skirts and two ballies on top waaaaaaaaaay back

As a meat fisherman I fish 11lines , half green,half rainbow , spreader bars and singles ,2 naked balihoo and one cedar plug in the wash

This is usually my tuna spread unless something is getting more action then it will get replaced with whatever is getting more hits.

2 small ballyhoo on the longriggers,2 small ballyhoo on the flatlines, 1 small ballyhoo on the bridge rod, 1 squid chain and 1 double or triple dredge off each rigger.

This is our usual spread, we mix it up if nothing is biting. We like to run 9 lines, but if its rough we only run 7

4 dink hoo's right benind the dredges, the whites always seem to come up very close that way for me anyway,,,,,,,ahh I cant take winter anymore with the closure of duck season iminent i may need to go someplace warm:)

BTW, i see many are using jets- i have run them, but never caught on them! other stuff gets bit, just not them.... guess i should keep running them.

I can't believe my best producer last season has not even been mentioned!! Zuccuhini spreader bar from Sterling Tackle was #1 this past year, BFT and YFT. But anything and everything from Steve seems to produce. We'll pull four bars, two machine daisy chains, three bally's, cedar plug, feather daisy chain and a super jet daisy chain for tuna, mahi, and wahoo. If it's slow I'll put more out but many times only get the bars and corners set before the first hook up.
