Ben Carson has repeatedly indicated he would give legal status to millions of poverty stricken, poorly educated, low and unskilled aliens who have invaded our borders. But Carson’s compassion for these illegal entrants does not take into account the devastating financial burden which would be thrust upon American citizens who would be taxed to finance Carson’s compassion. This issue was partly addressed this past Friday when a Federal Appeals Court struck down Obama’s desire which is similar to Carson’s which is to legalize millions of foreigners who have invaded our borders and broken our laws!

See: Appeals court rules against Obama on immigration program

“The public interest favors maintenance of the injunction” as the legality of Obama’s immigration programs is decided, Smith wrote in an opinion joined by Judge Jennifer Elrod.

Smith added that the new program goes beyond the law enforcement concept of “prosecutorial discretion,” in which a government with limited resources sets priorities for enforcement. Rather, he wrote, the policy “is the affirmative act of conferring ‘lawful presence’ on a class of unlawfully present aliens. Though revocable, that new designation triggers eligibility for federal and state benefits that would not otherwise be available.”

The question is, will tonight’s debate moderators question Carson and the other candidates [Bush, Rubio, and John Kasich] why they propose to legalize millions of illegal entrants when their presence will make American citizens tax slaves to support their economic needs?

As of this writing, I have yet to hear a media personality on FoxNews confront one of the above mentioned candidates, including Ben Carson, on this critical issue. Nor have I heard one ask the above candidates if they would support and advocate a policy which would make it very uncomfortable for these illegal entrants to stay such as:

impose a stiff jail sentence one illegal entrants if caught working in our country;

require business owners to utilize e-verify when hiring;

severely punishing business owners who knowingly hire illegal aliens;

require emergency rooms to use e-verify when treating suspected aliens;

denying illegal entrants any medical care (excepting in a life death situation);

deny the children of illegal aliens access to a State’s public schools system;

forbid and make it a crime for illegals to live in any public housing unit or section eight housing;

and never allow a person who has entered our country illegally to re-enter our country legally in the future, all of which would actually encourage many illegal entrants to swiftly exit our country on their own.

To support Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio or John Kasich is to support a continuance of Obama's illegal immigration tyranny which includes giving legal status and work permits to tens of millions who have invaded our borders!

I'll bet Carson is not asked tonight how he expects to finance the economic and social needs of the millions of aliens he wants to make legal, nor how these illegal entrants who will compete for low and unskilled jobs will affect wages paid to American Citizens in these same jobs.

So one more time, are you going to give us an alternative or should we all follow your lead, crawl in the hole and refuse to participate?

Don't expect this evening's moderators to confront Ben Carson on this issue and the consequences of his desire to make millions of illegal entrants legal.

Carson absolutely SHOULD be questioned on that issue, strictly as a matter of economy, not from a perspective of compassion, or human rights, or tradition, or any other issue other than that of money.

Every single question tonight should begin with "How do you intend to pay for your idea about..........................?"

I agree completely. Additionally, candidates who support the TPP which allows a company to import an unlimited supply of foreign workers who may then replace American workers at a wage far less than the American worker, ought to explain why squeezing American workers out of their jobs in this manner is good for the general welfare of the United States and her citizens.

We disagree on that one. I'm not going to blame a company for taking advantage of a law. I'm going to blame the Congressmen who wrote the law, the Congressmen who passed it, the POTUS who signed it, and the voters who put them in office.

John seems increasingly unwilling to identify who he actually likes/supports. The more and more he criticizes various GOP candidates without identifying who he actually could support makes me increasingly think he's simply a shill for the Democratic Party (especially when you see he simply cuts and pastes the same information over and over again on lots of right-leaning web forums). :thumbsdown:

I think we actually agree. I don't blame a company for taking advantage of the law either. What is complained of is the law itself!

Quite a few on here criticized Trump for using the bankruptcy laws. If you have a problem with a law elect people that will change the law.

Exactly! And withdrawing Congress' power to lay and collect taxes calculated from profits, gains, salaries, wages, tips and other lawfully earned incomes would go a long way to end crony taxation used to fatten the fortunes of the well connected and Washington Establishment donors.

“…..with all these blessings, what more is necessary to make us a happy and a prosperous people? Still one thing more, fellow-citizens—a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities“. Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address
