popping corks: they are about 3" in length and have just under a half ounce in them. they pop on the surface and slow sink when tension is released. a lot of spring and summer back bay trips has fish blowing up on bait (cinder worms, grass shrimp, rainfish, etc. ) but not taking anything else. teasers worked here and there but i really think the plug presenting them turned a lot of bites off. in areas of current these can be popped and skipped on the surface and allowed to just sink down and drift like a struck bait. in my head it sounds like it just might work! :D
teasers and maybe even gulp products will be in tow about 2 feet or more behind.
