Finally got a chance today to use the Cobra Navigator I bought from barrell,first half decent day since I bought it.
Paddled around for about an hour off the Villas in Del bay,didn't try any fishing,just trying to get used to kayaking first.
Saw some dolphins in close,started heading towards them but they dissaperared. I guess it's a little different paddling in the big water of the DB then it is in the more protected backbay waters.
Should sleep good tonight,it felt like a pretty good workout.Also saw a dead dolphin or harbor porpoise on the beach,about 3 feet long.I think the Marine Mammal Stranding Center came and got it.

I'm getting ready to make my maiden yak trip as well. Since it's gonna be my first time in the yak I'll probably do something like a back bay launch or maybe even a sweetwater trip
