Fish Poison interview on the economic situation in the motherland
"Fish Poison, fellow comrade, It's been disclosed to the general public that the song "Hard Times" was actually written during the Bush administartion. What conditions differ today from that era"?
FP "well, truthfully, things are about the same as back then. Today we are adding up numbers and claiming that Obama is spending trillions while Bush only spent billions. It's important to recognize that the decisions by our goverment to turn to socialism actually started with Bush. It was actualy a wink/wink situation between Bush and Obama. Once Bush convinced the citizens of the Motherland that we should start bailouts with companies such as AIG, or the world would come to an end, it became a green light for Obama to do the same".
"The same what?"
FP "as you may already know, my staff has just uncovered the fact that AIG has reported another loss, near 9 billion dollars, and they have their hand held out again."
"What does this mean to the taxpayers?"
FP "pretty sinple, the goverment will just keep handing it out, to AIG, the banks, the car companies, maybe Greece, the citizens of the motherland,.,,. wait, did I say the citizens, please forgive me, I mispoke. In other words 'Hard Times coming down the road' They laughed like hell when I wrote that song. Seems as true today as back then"
