Fish Poison interview on the economic situation in the motherland

"Fish Poison, fellow comrade, It's been disclosed to the general public that the song "Hard Times" was actually written during the Bush administartion. What conditions differ today from that era"?

FP "well, truthfully, things are about the same as back then. Today we are adding up numbers and claiming that Obama is spending trillions while Bush only spent billions. It's important to recognize that the decisions by our goverment to turn to socialism actually started with Bush. It was actualy a wink/wink situation between Bush and Obama. Once Bush convinced the citizens of the Motherland that we should start bailouts with companies such as AIG, or the world would come to an end, it became a green light for Obama to do the same".

"The same what?"

FP "as you may already know, my staff has just uncovered the fact that AIG has reported another loss, near 9 billion dollars, and they have their hand held out again."

"What does this mean to the taxpayers?"

FP "pretty sinple, the goverment will just keep handing it out, to AIG, the banks, the car companies, maybe Greece, the citizens of the motherland,.,,. wait, did I say the citizens, please forgive me, I mispoke. In other words 'Hard Times coming down the road' They laughed like hell when I wrote that song. Seems as true today as back then"

Socialism started WAY before Bush or Clinton!
isn't this common knowledge?

I think it's called a special or standard. It's about a $700 guitar, so as for SG's it's not expensive. They get up up to $1,000, 1,500 and so on. My brother has the Guild copy. I like it better than the SG. Is the faded special fairly new? Looks like a worn out cherry finish or similar? I think it's in the same price range.

Yeah Fish Poison, the SG I got was on sale at Guitar Center for $600.00, it's got the thin faded finish...(mine is in brown)....un-bound fretboard with plain dot inlays, and open humbucker pickups. I dressed mine up with nickle pickup covers. I play an Epiphone Sheraton II (natural finish) at home, and keep the SG at work.
Also have a Fender Blues Jr. amp, and a VOX ATV tube amp....been playing around with the guitar for over 12 years now and still can't play for crap, but it's a lot of fun trying.....;)

I certainly appreciate the invite, but I suck with a capitol "S", and would embarrass the good name of the Salty Dogs with my amateur hacking skills....
