This species is a highly prized fly rod game fish. It is ALSO a highly prized big fish trolling bait.
Deboned and rigged and trolled at high speeds, these babys have been the secret weapon to more than a few Capts who fish around the world for Big Blues.

Do you know? or do you think you know?

How about the False Albacore. I have trolled them for Blue Marlin, but have only caught Big Blue Marlin on Plastic, but I know they work.

wrong, wrong, and...sorry, but wrong!
..and yes, Blue Marlin!
Heres a hint...
It is a prized flyfishing catch FROM INSHORE!

Remember that I did not say Local.

Think "worlds best Blue marlin GRANDER waters"..... Blue marlin tournament winning capts are a bit tight lipped, but they do share information..especially after a few glasses of Captain Bobs coconut water punch!

yea, a nice three foot eel would be a nice fight on flyrod. It would be a good one to cut off and release. They do work offshore. But not too prized.
