Hey everyone.

Does anybody know a good site with fish finders? We'll like it in color, to say what fish it is(I know some do :) and the depth. Price range-300-500$. Thanks
FisherMan,

Try our bottom link some great prices there. In that price range I am a Garmin or Lowrance fan. Here is the link for a Lowrance at the top of your scale http://www.marinesupplydirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=1612799_1612802&products_id=20833215 and a Garmin in the lower end http://www.marinesupplydirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=1612799_1612802&products_id=20833537 . If you have the bucks the 1" differance is well worth it.

fisherman120,

Another fishfinder I like is the Furuno FCV-620 Fishfinder.

If I had the extra dollars I would buy the Furuno. The Furuno goes for $689.00, plus you have to buy the transducer for $100, total $800.00. for the dollars the Raymarine unit can't be beat.

If your wondering if I work for consumer marine I don't. I am just a fishing gear junkie. :D

Type in the search area: raymarine ds500x

or

http://www.consumersmarine.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=330068&pdesc=Raymarine_DS500X_LCD_Sounder&str=raymarine%20ds500x&merchID=3005&r=view

You can save another $15.00 for orders over $200. Enter promotional code CMH327.
I have found that BOE Marine (http://byownerelectronics.com) offers the best pricing, is very quick to ship, and they offer free shipping on orders over $400. Whomever you buy from, make sure you are getting everything you need in the price listed. For example, the Raymarine model included in johnny d's posting requires you to buy the transducer separately.

Flatrat,
Nice, added it to my favorites.:D Plus, when you buy out of state you don't have to pay taxes. Ahh, I didn't see it mine came with a transducer. CM site doesn't even show a price for the transom mount transducer ???

I have ordered from Consumer marine in the past and they have treated me well. Great customer service.

If you asked they would probably match the offer from the other site on the shipping cost, but in NJ you have to pay the tax man.

There's a lot to be said for customer service, and BOE has treated me and everyone I have sent their way very well. Like you said, not paying taxes is a huge plus!!

Raymarine digital fishfinders

Thet come with a transom mount transducer. I had the 600...till I sold my boat:mad: Now I have to buy another one for the new boat. Probably gonna get the 400. My new boat is gonna be smaller and the expense is not worth the size in my situation. That fishfinder is awesome!!!! With it properly mounted you can view the bottom at 30mph.

I agree make sure everything is included. When all is said and done we are still cheaper than BOE and Daves, ships from NJ should have it the next day, PA no tax and we are a Barn Sponser.

We put together our online store with fellow Fishermen in mind. We can not even come close to the online prices in our store.
