I've been waiting for stories of Muskie, Pike, Bass, etc. taking one of those home with them. In the salt, it definately wouldn't be long before a blue ate one.

what does this unit cost? i would use it in freshwater but not sure how it would hold up in the salt.

I just found it at bass pro shops for a $100.00.Seems pretty cool,which one of us is willing to be the guinea pig.And will it be the hottest new lure.

Looks like Cabelas's has it on sale for
$89.99....

What I think would be neat,is to say lower
that baby down off a Bridge to check out
the structure and to find the deeper holes
etc...
As for BlueFish, Yeah I Know They Eat Anything
So Say We Just Lower It With A Steel Leader...

Dick's Sporting Goods carries it. I looked at it a couple of times, but decided to wait. I have talked to someone else that used it for freshwater and said he really likes it. Like Strikes mentioned above it could take the fun out of some fishing while it could really help in other situations.

I have one, I'd say don't waste your money. it doesn't work off bridges or piers (too far away??), but in freshwater, it might be a good thing to have. Its very heavy, so you need to have more than 6 lb. test. I'm thinking I could try to sell it in the barn sale forum if somebody wants to try it out.
