Good News This Week, Most Beach Permits For
4x4 Access Open Back Up on the 15th or a little
later.It's that time of the year to start watching
for Falling Water Temps (Still in the Low-Mid 70's).And To Watch For Bait Movement.ie Mullet
& Peanut Bunking heading out of the inlets..
Spike to keeper Weakfish are still present and
I actully for the first time in weeks saw some
Bass becoming a little more agressive in the
backbays...

went last night at 11 pulled boat at 330. took home 10 weaks a few blues and released a few small striper. the weaks appear to be getting some size finally

went last night also, hit some sod banks, GB near inlet, lotta somethings breaking water and sounded huge, had bait fish pinned against sod banks, only caught a seabass, threw averything i had at'em they wherent taking anything i had.

time to get some new gear!

I fished Corson's last night and the something big breaking water turned out to be cow nosed rays. They seemed to like the Fin-S lures I was using. I hooked (snagged?) 5 of them, landed 4, the largest almost 3 feet across and took 15 minutes to get in. All released. The 5th started to spool me and I had break it off to continue fishing. A lot of fun and a good workout.

Fished this morning..9-15

Had 5 bass to 28" and missed alot more. The mullet and bunker were thick as could be! It was fun...Mostly on poppers!

out and about 9/14,, tons of small blues in the cisp area ,, had a great time playing with them ,, today off to sandy hook at 3:30 am ,, caught some nice blues,, saw two albies caught ,, had one on myself (i think) my first ,, saw a dead whale on the beach at north end,, great day to be out and about

Fished plugs & plastics in OC area last night for a short hour...

Very warm out, many bugs... lots of small baitfish in water... looked like rainfish or shiners.. Fair current, a little dirty.

A lot of small snapper blues in the area..

Ran into a gentleman from Drexel, PA I had met in the same area a few months ago. He had hooked into a large ray. Helped him unhook it and chatted for a while...

Told him I'm going to wait a few weeks, nothing exciting happening and I don't want to lose lures to rays

Fished the incoming Thursday nite in Ocean County. A few spike weakies and numerous blues. I donated my pack of Pinkies to the blues & called it a night. I did see several nice bass holding outside the shadow line but they weren't interest. I tried everything but live bait.

Fished NWW Area last night under some lights. Bass holding everywhere I fished. Mostly shorts. Could only manage 1 22in Bass on yozuri. Tried Pink zooms/white zooms but they just weren't that interested .

I've noticed bass holding & not interested lately. As soon as the water temp starts to drop things should start to pick up. Things may start on the upswing this week and by the 1st week of October we should be on our way!

Try a small teaser fished ahead of your plug or jig...should do the trick

Went last night oc area. bass were hitting but not agressive. Some weaks all small. The h2o dropped to 69.
