Heading to Turks & Caicos in May and was wondering if anyone has any fishing boat recommendations?

Bottom Fishing, Deep Sea, anything. I'll fish in a puddle if I have to.

I see alot of bonefishing done there, but do they only Flyfish for them? Any light tackle charters?

i went there with my parents a few years back. All we did was inshore bonefishing. we went a few times with a guide named arthur who i believed owned down deep charters( who run flats, bottom and offshore trips to my recolection) who was awesome. he had us jigging them on spinning gears with a clear sparkle twist tail jig that killed em. we also rented a jeep and explored the calmer back side beach and caught bones in the same way. if your interested in inshore, that should start you off. good luck.

I was thinking of going to the Beaches Resort in Turks and Cacos. It looks awesome and all inclusive. Kid friendly too.:bow::bow:

Been to beaches 4 times and I would always go back. So many resteraunts and pools there. Great resort!!!

lol, that is where we are staying. Beaches. We have a 3 yr old so the Sesame Street charaters should keep her busy.

Went to Beaches two years ago but didn't fish. Did a few dives that were made really easy by the resort. Free Hobie cats were ice too. Excellent all inclusive.:thumbsup:

They can book something for you through the hotel IIRC, me n my dad almost went fishing the one trip we were down there.

Turks Caicos

I have been to a number of places to bone fish but I have to say, for numbers, it was the best. I fished with a guy named Capt Barr Gardiner. I think it is bonefish unlimited in Turks and Caicos. I hooked 30 in 4 hrs using spin gear and following day took my father in law and he caught 20 + with spinning gear, while I fly fished and hooked up 11 in one day.
Next best spot for me was Belize but the numbers in Turks was awesome.
Great guide, he does out of boat or remote islands and wade, both were good results. The one day I fished Barr was not avaoilable and put me out with Bonefish Lamb, another guide, grumpy old guy but man he knew bonefish.
Great spot, good restaurants, has a small casino at one hotel and also a club med beach area for your viewing pleasure.

Also fished with bonefish unlimited.The wife and I caught about 20 or so bones in a 4 hour trip.The turks and Caicos used to be a great place for blue marlin.Got a 300 lb blue there about ten years ago.You used to be able to get double digit hook-ups back in the day but I think the marlin bite has fallen off in recent years.
