Wow what a cold front that came thru this week making flats fishing almost impossible. We had lows in the high 20's and dropped the water from 68 to 52 degrees in three day's. Spent monday thru Wednesday remodeling our bathroom and dicided to do some Sheephead and Black Drum fishing and the bite was pretty good. Thursday caught 9 puppy Drum keeping 6 in the 17 to 22 inch range. Went out for two hours Friday and went two for seven on Drum and one 17 inch Sheephead, also a Flounder but put the Flounder back as it was only 13 inches long. Legal limit for Flounder is only 12 inches in Florida.:(
Weather is back in the high 70's and by Monday the fishing should improve.

Tight lines and happy New Year. Johnny D.
