They just had a meeting on the 7th.

EDIT: We should know late next month/early April. If the early April option is picked, i can see people getting their boats ready real early. I will already be in.:)

I would go with any of the last three. Only because I hate hooking a 17.5 threw the eye or having it gut hooked and throwing it back knowing it might not have the best chance of survival. Dates don't matter to me as much as waste...

I like option #2.....a few weeks early in the back before the busy season would be nice, plenty of time to hit the reefs forthe august duldrums ,september and 2 weeks in october. Which way any of us leans is going to be somewhat location specific.....We fish out of TI....plenty of good early season fishing and no shortage of spots to fish.

If we ran out of cape may I would opt for #4......running down there you still have drum and stripers to toy with in the bay early, and you get the later season time on the cape may reef and the old grounds.....OOOOPS I said it...forgive me captG:D

Those last 3 options sound great to me. Nice long season and a decent size for a keeper, especially later in the season when they get thick. Should make for a fun fishing season!

I'm gonna be blunt just for my buddy nofish4me and say anyone who would vote for any flounder size limits over 17" is an idiot. And, if anyone thinks most barners (not on a comm boat) actually have a chance of bagging 8 keepers in any one outing, that makes you even more dumb
