Hi Guys, Came home today after a 9 day stay down the shore. Had some GREAT flukin days and some not so great. By far last Wensday was the best, we went to the "Old Grounds". Had 11 keepers for the 2 of us up to 25inches. Not a sea bass or skate or sea robin. Just fluke, with about 7 throwbacks. Had another day in the back with 5 keepers myself. Biggest was about 24 1/2inches. There was a brief flurry at the Cape May Point. They are still getting some there but nothing like Thurs and Fri. Me and the misses had 4 on Fri up to 20 1/2inches. Today I had 2, barely keepers. There were some good catches out at the Old Grounds, but it has gotten very spotty out there, just ask Mako(Tom). I caught a few weakies this past week but nothing to speak of. Still trying to find that super size fluke hole so's I can give Biggest a run for his money in the "Duke". I report for Jury duty tomarrow(federal). Hope I won't be there long, gotta keep practicing for the Duke, tight lines, fishpole

FISHPOLE5--STAIN AND MINI-STAIN TRIED TO RUIN MY BOAT LAST WED.BY CATCHING KEEPERS 4 TO 1 MINI OVER STAIN--THRU AFTERNOON I FIXED THAT BOAT AND THOSE TWO BY GETTING BACK TO NORMAL AND JUST CATCHING THROWBACKS.FRI. WITH THE FINGER THATS BAD AND LADY FINGER ABOUT 14 THROWBACKS.
SAT. OUT WITH THE WOLF AND WE SCREWED UP AND CAUGHT A 17" AND 19" ALOND WITH ABOUT 8 THROWBACKS.
SUN.AT THE TOP OF THE HILL THERE WERE 4,212 BOATS,ALWAYS ONE RUNNING BY ON EACH SIDE ANDTHE ROUGH BOTTOM AND SNAGS AND WAS TOLD I MUST WAIT TO THE OUTGOING FOR A GOOD BITE.SRARTED OUT OUTSIDE THE BIG RIP JUST FOR SOLITUDE,MANY BIG SKATES,KEEP MOVING IN--THE WIFE CAUGHT A 25LB SHARK.CAUGHT 1 KEEPER 2 THROWS AND LEFT BEFORE THEBITE WAS SUPPOSE TO START.
THINK IF I'M NOT WAY IN THE BACK I'LL TAKE SOME CHUM AND GO HIDE SOMEWHERE AND DO WHAT I LOVE BEST --THROW SLOP AND FISH FOR EVERYTHING TILL THE FISH TELL YOU.

Congrats on a few keepers. Sunday at the OG, a few miles of boats from 17' bassboats to 45'ers. Too nice of a day, no drift.

THAT IS WHERE I HOPE TO GO FOR THE DUKE--NO SENSE PUTTING TRANSPONDER ON TIMMY--I'LL PUT A COUSIN ON THE END OF THE INLET AND IF G OR HARV LEAVE, IF HE'S AWAKE I'LL KNOW DESPERATE MEN DO DESPERATE THINGS.I WOULD GUESS ITS ONLY 50/50 ON MOST DAYS I CAN RUN THERE IN MY BOAT CAUSE IT AIN'T WORTH TAKEN A BEATING.

I forgot to mention, that a guy at our marina had a fabulious day just above Mia Maul Lighthouse between there and the "Flat Top"(abandoned light house). No, this is not a ploy to confuse Biggest , just forgot to post it, fishpole

Biggest, you can follow me down there anytime buddy! I was in w/ the big fleets whole time. Got any Polish in ya? My crew is a bunch of Polocks, were thinking that may be giving us the advantage we need, dumb luck
