Allan, you have the basics. When you get the DVD, it'll all come together for you. Get the materials I reccomended to you and you'll be tying brother. I forget what color patterns Clouser ties in there but, post back or E mail me for the more productive colors if you need. The "Crabby" I sent you is one of the best, at least down here. Learn to tie a good Clouser and you'll never be without a productive fly. I'll write up the recipe for the other one and get it to you. Clousers video will really give you the basics of material handling and technique.
As for tools, I would recommend a few more bobbins. Just pick one up now and again. It is just a nice feature to have one set up with a black,red,white,mono,chart, gray etc. etc.Then you don't have to keep changing threads. Just a convenience thing
