The dredging ensued last fall and a nice new section sandy beach was made. The bad news is that I hit bottom at low tide in the canal trying to get on plane last week. I think it was about the 3rd set of buoys out from the marina, on or around where the sand bar was last year. I had hoped it was a weird wave hit, but the paint was freshly scraped from my skeg :-(. It was low when I came in this week and it read 1.9 feet in that area (was on plane). I have a 2' offset on my sounder so it still puts it around 4 feet near low. Be careful.

Two weeks ago I went out one hour after Lowtide and had 4 foot of water. I stayed over by the green buoy side. I think they pulled money and they never finished.
