Here's a lake where I have caught 6 pound bass already

Been stuck in a main feeder ban since 1pm. Ne winds stuck at 22 gusting to 40. Couple of shots looking East toward the ban. Osceola county had 1 twister so far.

The grass around the edge of that lake looks like good gater hidin' territory! Do you make alot of noise and beat the brush upon approach or fish it from a boat?

Already saw a 3 footer, I make a ton of noise, but that's mostly for the snakes. You can see the gators. Got a nice pair of snake boots, how's your wrist??

Power has been on and off last 2-3 hours. We are getting 75-85 right now. 3 flats boats on trailors outback are ready to get lifted off. I will try to get out soon and get some pics soon.

Some bigtime devastation down here. It's really sad. A third would truly be a back breaker. I have done a lot more talking about and learning about the fishing down here than doing but still having a blast and still love. I used to average at least 3 trips a week, I have only been out 4-5 times so far in 1 month. Should get better, hunkering down again

Dr. Bass:

The pins were extracted yesterday. The doctor seemed to take offense when I referred to his procedure as "yanking the pins!" "I don't yank anything!" he said. (Maybe he should start soon & lighten up!)

Two of his nurses were really upset with him and told me so... they felt that the first pin "extractions" performed just after the initial surgery should have been done with a little help, perhaps a regional block. But that would have meant a hospital visit... not convenient for th Dr.

Overall, though, I'm very happy!
