I know this board is dedicated to saltwater and god knows that is what I do most, but I have been doing alot of freshwater fishing this year because I lost my ride. I think a freshwater forum would be great, so this board can branch out a little beyond just the salt.

Bite your tongue MakoJoe! A sweetwater forum?

(In my best "manly" voice) WE BARNERS (beating on best) FISH FOR BASS & TUNA NOT SUNNIES & BLUEGILLS! ;)

Seriously MakoJoe, I'm not gonna lie to ya by saying I've never thought about adding a "Freshwater" forum. I thought about it and I came to the conclusion that I'd prefer to keep focused on the salt. As I said before many times...I subscibe to the K.I.S.S theory (keep it simple stupid).

Now that doesn't mean I'm not open minded to the idea. This community is as much yours as it is mine so if there are enough people out there who would like to see a freshwater forum added to our linup, speak up and make yourself heard

In the mean time we're gonna remain dedicated to the salt just as our logo suggests~

I think a forum for sweetwater on this site would be nothing but good....I know that a good percentage of Barners that I know fish freshwater as well...and it would be nice to have a forum dedicated to the sweet just as a way to organize reports (rather than posting them sporadically on the Home Port or Tacklebox....On a more selfish note, currently I have to check other websites for my freshwater reports, and it would be very convenient to include them on this site as well......tight lines----Mike

Mike might be right...we could draw a crowd for South Jersey Freashwater guys. I know I could get a TON of people posting reports. Something to think about. We have a serious amount of freshwater bass fisherman in the clubs, Federation, and locals that would jump all over this.
