Last august I had my carbs rebuilt on yamaha 115. After putting carbs back on we installed a new moeller fuel line with ball to the engine. This was the brand new fuel line with the ball. Well I just had the carbs rebuilt again and they had something in them like a gel. We looked at the fuel line and both ends were coming apart. The black inner part was actually being pushed up inside the gray as you put it on the barb and the clear liner part was just peeing off. All the layers were coming apart. This was purchased new last july in wrapper. Check your fuel lines.

If you're running the gray moeller lines they're junk. The PO of my last two boats installed it and it was hard as a rock. I replaced it with a BRP primer bulb and hose. Been on the one since 09 and it still looks new. I'd spring for a factory set up.
