After our charter this morning, I took the ADAM BOMB II for a run and found a ZILLION birds working right on the beach. Luckily, I had a rod aboard and threw a hopkins on and CRUSHED the small blues for the next hour, catching one every time the jig hit the water! They were better than they've been, with the smallest around a pound, and the biggest about 3lbs. TheBoss works at a local condo complex as lifeguard supervisor, so I backed the boat into the surf, she swam out, jumped on board, and we headed back to the bird play, where we continued to hammer the blues for a little while longer before dropping Tracy back off at work after her break!

The small blues are inshore, and with the amount of bait in the water such as spearing and peanut bunker, they should continue to stick around! Wait 'till the linesiders move in! YYEEEEHA!
