I removed the gas to go to wood. There was nothing wrong everything worked. $50 I have no use for it.

Great deal! Is it for vented or ventless? I have one now (ventless) and am heating the whole house with it, haven't turned the furnace on in 2 years. Saved me 1000's last year in oil.

can you run it with the flu closed (without dying?) Seriously though it may have a metal "tag" attached by chain to it that has the instructions.

Bayrat I saw that metal tag But didn't read it yet. I know when I bought the house the flu was open slightly with a hinge. so I am assuming the flu must be open.

Read it, if its ventless you'll get much more heat if you close the flu.
