Very cool video....Would like to cruise the flats in Cape May County this summer with a spot light to see if I can spot some....would not use the spear, of course....but maybe they'd hit a small bucktail thrown in front of them....Anyone know if fluke will strike if high-intensity light is being directed at them?????MIke

I know what you mean Josh. They look like real sportsmem, fill the cooler anyway you can. Thought the whole idea of fishing was for fun and relaxation. I get tired of all the meat mentality. Why don't they buy a dragger, they could fill the cooler quicker. Probably the same type of guys that put nets across the mouths of small creeks on out going tide and I bet they hunt deer at night with lights too.

KeysKid & CapeMayRay:

Im with you guys...what i usually do though is get a small bucktail or hook with a minnow or peanut bunker and drop it in front of their faces. Its much safer that way. Right?? Am I wrong?? Is there something that im missing?..please someone let me know if i am..thanks

I would love to know what the commercial guys do offshore down here

I have in my collection "junk" an old wooden glassbottomed bucket with a flashlight clip attached to the inside. It was probably used as a nightime bottom viewer for spotting fish. Anyone have any idea of it's worth? It's wire bound and in excellent condition.
