As this season is ending up what are everyones top few goals for next year
1. Catch a 30 lb striper
2. catch a 10 lb weakie
3. Learn How to catch fish on a plug in the surf
4. Catch a 34+ on a bridge.
1. A 14+ pound weakfish
2. A 30+ pound backwater striper
3. A 10+ pound flounder
4. To spend more time out front surf fishing
5. To fish a little more in the waders this year
6. To take my first NJ speck
Whether I meet any of these goals or not, I know I'll have a blast trying.
1- Is always to catch a 50 lb striper from the surf or jetty on a plug or teaser!
2- Is a 15 lb weakfish, i had 2 this year pushing 13 lbs!
3- Is to catch a 10 lb fluke while wearing my waders in the back bay, fishing some of these small creeks in early spring!
4- Which will happen, is to take my 4 year old son Jacob on his first fishing trip!
Last year I said to myself that I wanted to explore different parts of the state and I did that with alot more trips to IBSP/North and even hit SandyHook for the first time.So I want to continue to do that and maybe even expand that to kayaking Barnegat Bay and additional trips to the Hook. Big Jetty Fishing,I have been away from that for awhile now and want to get back into it and I have already lined up some trips for the spring. Road Tripsa trip to New England and OBX
