Hey guys!

Today, we had a couple of open boat groups aboard. Our morning open boat had two late night cancellations last night, so we headed out with Chris, Tommy, and Joe C. aboard. We fished the Cape May rips in clean 51 degree water, and had steady fishing through the flood tide. We ended the morning trip about 11am after boating THIRTY-FIVE stripers to 33". We had our limit of slot fish, but couldn't come up with anything over the 34" mark. We had lots of "tweeners", plenty of slots, and some little guys, as well.

In the afternoon, we had another open boat group aboard with Scott, Bill, Rich, and Mark. The fishing was slower than it's been, but the action was steady. We had more smaller fish on this afternoon's outgoing. Our four anglers boated their slot fish, and had lots of smaller bass along with a couple "tweeners" in the 29" to 31" range. The guys ended the evening boating TWENTY-THREE stripers to 31", as well as having a bunch of other bites.

Looking forward to tomorrow!

Adam- you must be loving this weather!!!

After fishing today out there- and "trying" to fish rips that were out of the way and away from the croud- and still getting aggrevated....it made me really appreciate you doing that every day and dealing with this rudeness and stupidity non-stop.

Great job again.

Adam,

Ditto with your AM report.....We swung 38 stripers over the rails but none reached 34"...

On the outgoing we managed 10, but most were shorter than short...Regardless of the size, it was my best day this year....

Great day, had a lot of fun. Email me with "Incognito" news for next week.

Tom, sometimes, it can be tough. You have just got to be patient, stick with it, and keep plugging away. Glad to see you had some fish.

Sean, thanks for the come back. You guys really kicked some butt this morning. Awesome job. Great seeing you out there. I will definitely shoot you an e-mail with "Incognito" news. Received some good news, today! Thank God!

Adam

Just doing a little homework and Noticed that the Pressure changed drastically overnight from 30.26 almost down to 30.18 then held steady between 30.18-30.16

Do you think this can change the bite like you saw between your Am and Pm trips?? The biggest change was in the Am

The wind was calm just like on the 16th but you boated 60 plus on both trips??

Thanks In Adavance??

Dr. Bass, I think that a pressure change sure can change the bite. On the 16th, we had 61 in the morning and 46 in the afternoon. Right now, the fish just seem to be biting a bit more intensely on the flood.
