This was my spring 2008 project. I am a self admitted very slow worker so this one I really hustled on in order to have it finished up in 3 months. My friend bought the boat and it had a hole in the bow from the dock and I guess a storm. I began that and he also wanted an updated dash.

Heres the way I got the boat:

Called Scott C. up in the Boston area to make some custom gauge panels and a vhf panel. I had the boats name lasered into the panels and the owner thought it looked really tricked out. I also took the bulkhead out and replaced it with a glassed one so it matched the dash, but I dont have a picture of that.

Sanded the gelcoated areas down and here is the finished area:

That’s some excellent work. Looks great. I have a Dory I am redoing first then moving on to my 23 Gulfstream.
Good luck
:thumbsup:Very nice..........
Thank`s for the pic`s. Very nice.
Great job what did you use paint or gell? if gell how did you spray it?please let me know.
for that I sprayed gelcoat. I get it from minicraft out of Florida. All you have to do is type in your boat year and make and they ship you the gel the manufacturer uses. When you spray gel, you have to reduce it in order for it to come out in a mist.
Nice Job

Jrgrady - the work looks " Great " .... post up those Pic's ..... I tried to spray red gel-coat on my Herreshoff Harbor Pilot , but i keep sanding off the thin gelcoat layers ..... so ,I sent the Pilot to Wayne at Jersey Cape Custom Yachts - they did a great job on my boat , there is about 3 gallons of Gel-Coat on the hull .......
