Went out this afternoon for the first few hours of the outgoing tide hoping maybe that would get them going. Nothing happening at all. I was talking to a few guys that fished the whole incoming too and said that nobody even got a run.

I can remember getting a few from the point in late March/early April last year.

Any life at all? Any "nibbles" (most likely from perch)? Anything?

No, I didn't get touched by any perch or flounder either.
What kind of bait?

Herring, I seen the bait on Monday, when I was out with with my budy running the boat for the first time. Seen them both on the fishfinder and in the birds mouth.

Sounds about right. Two days after the bait moved through the stripers were there.

Tues they were spotted up past Lower Bank, very small numbers though.

Its only going to get better and the boat is in ready to go:D
