Just received new control cables for my boat from Teleflex. Had a problem with the outer jacket shrinking. The cables I had were over 2 years old and out of warranty but they replaced them anyway. They are telling me that they have to have a loop at the engine which my original factory cables did not, so i replaced them the first time the way the manufacturer had them and not according to Teleflex and the jackets pulled away. Even after telling them this they sent me new cablles with an added 3 foot for the loop and no charge at all. Nice to deal with a company that stands behind their product.

Nice to hear of a company standing up for its stuff. The bad outnumbers the good 10:1 usually. I think companies are trying harder since they are hurting in this economy
