Left the dock at 2:00 AM for a smooth ride out. Perfect seas 2' @ 8 seconds.
Lines in at 5:30.
Found the skippies on top & 6 rods go off. Boated 4.
Back in searching for the skippies, 4 more go off.
After that stayed on the troll picking away.
Ended up w/ 15. Mostly cookie cutter 30-35lbers.
Couple in the upper 40lb range.
Pulled hook on quite a few in the chaos.
1:00 headed in for a flat ride back to the dock.
Not many boats around. Whales & dolphin were everywhere.
Spreader bars caught the most. Shutes did ok.

Sounds like an awesome trip! Did you have or hear of any biteoffs or wahoo out there? I just started going offshore last season and am itching to cross a wahoo off the list.

That's weird, that there weren't even any mahi. Thank you for the comeback, Tuna.
