Is the gulp alive spray the same stuff that you get in the packages of gulp.

I believe so!!! While going back to start my drift again, I use a ziplock bag, stick my bucktail and teaser in the bag and spray. I soon have a ziplock with a little juice and I don't have to spray anymore, just dip it in. At the end of the day I dump the juice from the ziplock into my pint of gulp. I love gulp!!!

I have the herring and the shrimp spray. Haven't tried the others. I fish with mostly the shrimp and swimming mullet gulps. I use the herring spray with the mullets and the shrimp with the shrimp

I want it for so i can soak my 6in grubs in it. but i dont know what kind to get.

Crab might be a good choice too.
Most of the fluke I catch spit up shrimp or crabs.

I think it's all the same gulp saltwater, freshwater and alive the smelly liquid always smells and looks the same to me.:huh:

I use it on the boat occassionally when I remember to spray at the top of a drift, the verdict is still out on whether or not it makes a difference. I am big proponent that smell is not much of a factor on a moving bait but I guess it doesnt hurt.

Now, on foot the thing would just be a nuisance. If your fishing on foot and think that scent would give you an extra edge I would look into the bio edge wands. They come in a container just like eye black and at not messy at all.
